Schisandra has been used in traditional Chinese culture as a herbal remedy for centuries. Its Mandarin name means “five flavored fruit” as it is said to have the five flavor profiles or Chinese herbalism: bitter, sweet, salty, sour, and pungent. Schisandra has been traditionally used for its adaptogenic properties.
Suggested Use
